Change Of Film Genre

After receiving feedback from our questionnaire about our film trailer, we found out that not many people around our target audience age would go and see the film so this was one of our deciding factors of changing from the genre of social realism to a thriller as more people would enjoy watching the film. Another deciding factor of us changing the genre was that our film locations were too basic and was majority in the same location, when looking at actual film trailers we found that there was various locations and this is one quality we did not originally have. After we looked at the down falls we had with the social realism films we started to research thriller trailers and we found this a better genre to complete. We changed some of our ideas based along the film trailer roommate and fish tank, this we found interested more of our target audience. Once we decided this, we then reprinted different questionnaires changing them to fit around our new genre and about the new trailer, we then received more positive feedback.
